Gideon Asen Wins Motion to Remand Case to State Court

Gideon Asen represents Diane Martin in an action against Dollar Tree. The case is based on Dollar Tree’s failure to place crash-tested bollards outside its Ellsworth store, to protect its customers from storefront crashes. On January 27, 2025, Dollar Tree removed the case to federal court. However, earlier this month, Judge Walker granted Plaintiff’s motion to remand, as well as Plaintiff’s motion for attorney’s fees related to the case’s short stint in federal court.
