Christine Downs

Christine began her journey at Gideon Asen as the Legal Assistant/Medical Records Clerk before advancing to Operations Manager and then Chief Operating Officer. She now serves as the Director of Finance and Operational Controls, allowing her to focus on what she does best—building efficient systems, managing finances, and creating processes that help the firm run smoothly. By ensuring everything behind the scenes is organized and effective, she helps the attorneys and staff stay focused on fighting for their clients.

Christine's interest in law stems from personal experiences with the civil legal system.

Bachelor of Arts from the University of Maine at Augusta.

Outside of work, Christine enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors, and gardening. She is also passionate about art, particularly drawing, charcoal work, and woodworking. Fun fact: she even knows how to weld!
