About Jennifer

Before joining Gideon Asen, Jennifer spent over 20 years as an entrepreneur and wellness professional. Her career began in the wellness field where she founded and operated a successful yoga studio for two decades. Her business served individuals, groups and organizations across sectors – including healthcare, education, tech, government, non-profits, and retail. Over the years, her studio became known for creating supportive, inclusive environments where people could heal, grow, and reclaim their wellbeing.

Later, as a certified yoga therapist and health and wellness coach in a major hospital system, she worked directly with frontline healthcare professionals – many of whom were doing their best to care for others while navigating the moral injury and exhaustion of a broken system themselves. Jennifer coached these clients through behavior change, burnout recovery, and emotional resilience, while also empowering them to advocate for their own health and access the care they needed and deserved. In this role,  she honed the skills that are directly transferable to legal advocacy: deep, active listening, strategic thinking, and a fierce commitment to the people she serves.

Jennifer brings that same client-centered approach to individuals and families facing the aftermath of medical error and personal injury.  She truly understands the human cost of systemic failure, and she is committed to helping clients feel seen, heard, and supported. She works to build strong, evidence-based cases that tell our clients’ stories with clarity and care to restore dignity, promote healing and to stand up for those who have been harmed.

Outside of work, Jen is raising two socially conscious teenagers who are already powerful advocates for equity and justice in their own right. She finds joy in the outdoors and onstage. You might catch her in a local theater performance or belting out a musical theater number in the elevator. Jen finds grounding and renewal in the things that have long supported her own wellbeing: running, yoga, gardening, and cold-water swimming – practices that keep her connected, clear-headed, and ready to serve others with a purpose.
